Easterhouse's Billy to teach Frodo to fight
Lord of the Rings actor Billy Boyd has revealed he is using his tough Scottish upbringing to teach co-star Elijah Wood how to be a football hooligan. The American, who plays Frodo in the films, is to star as a US student who becomes embroiled in football violence. And Scot Billy has been drawing on all his experiences growing up on Glasgow's tough Easterhouse estate to help his 5ft 6in mate learn how to fight in the movie Hooligans. The 35-year old, who plays hobbit Pippin said: "I like to think of myself as a lover not a fighter but you have to know how to defend yourself."
